Bucks sack Skiles

The Milwaukee Bucks and head coach Scott Skiles have mutually agreed to part ways.  A nice way of saying he was fired.  The Bucks are in the throes of a four game losing streak, dropping to 16-16 on the year, third place in the Central Division.  If the season ended today, the Bucks would just make the playoff cut but they've made the post-season only once in the four plus years under Skiles.  His career record in Milwaukee is 162-182.    He led the team to a 46-36 mark in the 2009-10 season, reaching the playoffs but suffering a first round exit at the hands of the Atlanta Hawks.  Skiles also had stints with Phoenix and Chicago.  His longtime assistant, Jim Boylan, will take over the team on an interim basis.  The Bucks return to action Tuesday night hosting the Phoenix Suns at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
