GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The Brown County United Way reached its fundraising goal for its 2012 campaign. 

The organization announced Thursday afternoon that they just over $4 million. 

Funds raised will be distributed local non-profits that help with basic needs and prevention.  Fundraising is possible through the employee contributions from their paychecks, big donors, and corporate sponsors.  

Last year, the organization raised over a half million dollars more than its goal with $3.2 million.
