The Milwaukee Bucks came off the All-Star break to open the second half of the NBA season in Brooklyn but the Nets prevailed Tuesday night 113-111 in overtime. Veteran Joe Johnson scored 24 points and hit a game tying, three point shot at the buzzer in regulation to force the extra period and then drained a hoop at the horn in overtime for the win. Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 34 points, Ersan Ilyasova added 21 and Larry Sanders, returning from a back injury, scored 14 points with 8 rebounds and six blocked shots. Milwaukee (26-26) won't have to wait long for revenge, hosting Brooklyn Wednesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
