The Milwaukee Brewers finished up a good week by taking the rubber game in their series against the Pirates at PNC Park in Pittsburgh Thursday night 4-0. Milwaukee started the road trip by taking two out of three against the Reds in Cincinnati. Yovani Gallardo was solid for the Crew, working 7 scoreless innings, scattering six hits, walking one and striking out five to improve to 10-9 on the year. Milwaukee scored single runs in the first two innings against Garrett Cole. Aramis Ramirez hit his 9th homer of the season to make it 3-0. Jonathan Lucroy drove in a pair of runs and leadoff hitter Scooter Gennett went three for four. Milwaukee (59-74) returns to Miller Park for an interleague series against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Wily Peralta will face Jared Weaver in the opener.
