The Milwaukee Bucks returned home from a winless road trip only to drop a fifth straight game to the Denver Nuggets 112-111. In a tight game throughout, it came down to the final posessions. Monta Ellis capped a 38 point night with a four point play with 14 seconds to go giving Milwaukee a one point lead. Ty Lawson had an answer for the Nuggets, taking the inbounds pass, driving to the right of the lane and knocking down a step back jumper with :09 left. J.J. Redick missed a straight away three at the horn allowing Denver to clinch home court in at least the opening round of the playoffs. The Bucks (37-44) are already locked into the 8th playoff spot in the East and have one game remaining, at Western Conference leading Oklahoma City, before opening the playoffs against the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat. Brandon Jennings returned from a knee injury after missing three games but shot only 1 for 11 from the floor. Larry Sanders is still out with a back injury. The Bucks finished the season a disappointing 21-20 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
