BLACK RIVER FALLS, WI (WTAQ) - A jail sergeant in Black River Falls is due in court April 22nd on four felony charges in the sexual assault of one inmate, and the attempted molesting of another one.
Jackson County prosecutors said 47-year-old Gregg Twesme demanded the first inmate to expose himself. And when he refused, the correctional sergeant is alleged to have slammed the person into a tree and sexually assaulted him.
That incident and another were reported by two other inmates in January, when Twesme was in charge of a tree-pruning crew in a wooded area.
Twesme is charged with second-degree sexual assault by a correctional staffer, and attempted assault by a staffer – plus two counts of misconduct in public office.
