PULASKI, WI (WTAQ) - Official election canvassing results show voters in the Pulaski Community School District approved the second referendum question for $4.37 million in building maintenance and security upgrades by eight votes.
But organizers of the “It’s OK to Vote No” campaign have requested a recount.
The recount will happen Thursday or Friday.
Absentee ballots still needed to be counted after the April 2nd election night.
Preliminary vote counts showed question two passed by only seven votes.
Three other referendum questions failed.
The school district asked voters for over $26 million for increased technology funding, remodeling and additions as well as funding for a new community pool at the high school.
