LINCOLN, NE (WTAQ) - Weather shouldn’t be a factor when the Wisconsin Badgers open Big Ten play at Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium Saturday night.
Clear skies and temperatures in the mid-60s are expected.
Both teams bring 3-1 records into the contest and Nebraska is favored to win its fourth.
Wisconsin will try to rediscover the powerful offense which has taken the field in recent years. The Badgers have struggled to score this season.
Meanwhile, the Cornhuskers hit the home turf wanting some revenge for last year’s humbling introduced to the team’s new conference. Wisconsin won that game 48-17.
Even though he missed the entire second half last week, running back Montee Ball is expected to be ready to go for UW. He shredded the Husker defense for 4 touchdowns in last year’s rout.
This is Wisconsin’s first visit to Lincoln in 39 years.
