When the Clemson Tigers take to the field this season, they’ll be ushered on by a former teammate. Lee Brice wrote and recorded “Orange Empire,” the anthem that will bring the South Carolina college football team into the stadium.

Lee says he tried to capture the excitement he felt before one of his games in college.  “I remember the ride over to the stadium on the team bus,” he recalls.  “When we’d get to the top of that hill… there really is no describing the intensity and excitement. The fans were ready and insanely loud!”

Lee will get another taste of that excitement himself on Thanksgiving weekend, as he plays a pre-game concert at Littlejohn Coliseum, before the Tigers take on their arch rivals, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
