Jason Aldean 's performance at Thursday night's CMA Awards promises to be one of the show's biggest moments, but that doesn't mean the Entertainer of the Year nominee isn't nervous about it.
He says, "We're you're doing something on live TV, I mean, one screw up, it's there. There's no fixing it."
On top of knowing he's singing for millions of people in TV land, Jason is also looking out at his country music peers and heroes.
"A lot of times, it's looking out and seeing the George Strait s of the world sitting there in the front row looking at you," he says. "That's a little intimidating for me. So, that kinda just adds more pressure."
Of course, winning a CMA trophy or two would help ease that pressure. Jason took home the Album of the Year award for My Kinda Party last year, and he says of the unexpected win, "It takes a lot to get me excited. I was pretty stoked about that."
Jason will be performing a track from his brand-new album, Night Train , on the 46th Annual CMA Awards airing Thursday night at 8 ET on ABC.
