Wyclef Jean will be featured in a recurring role on ABC’s new drama, Nashville . According to The Hollywood Reporter , the singer, rapper and record producer will play the head of a music label.

Jean made an announcement via Twitter , posting a photograph of himself with what he describes as “the hottest cast on TV," featuring Sam Palladio , Clare Bowen , Jonathan Jackson and Rya Kihlstedt .

It’s not the first TV role for Jean. He was featured as Marcel Hollis in four episodes of Third Watch in 2005, and was a celebrity performer on the 30 Rock charity-spoof episode, Kidney Now! , in 2009.
