GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - No paycheck, big problem for thousands of Wisconsin workers and others across the Midwest. 

A small number of businesses who do their payroll through M&I Bank were effected.  M&I Bank has been transitioning to BMO Harris Bank this week, inlcuding their computer banking system. 

Direct deposit for thousands of workers did not happen Friday.

"We can confirm that a number of electronic payments were not made due to a processing issue, we sincerely apoligize for those effected and our bankers are working with employers right now on alternative payment solutions and any adverse impacts will be fully addressed" said BMO Harris Bank spokesman Jim Kapple.

Other issues arose with M&I customers logging into their accounts online.  The M&I Bank website was taken down and customers were directed to the BMO Harris Bank site.
