Shania Twain launches her Still the One show at Caesars Palace in December, but the Las Vegas residency won't be accompanied by new music. Though she's been writing quite a bit, Shania tells WestJet's Up! magazine , "I'm concentrating on the new show and not really getting any closer to recording a new album."

Shania is thinking about working on a new recording once the show is up and running, but it won't be a regular studio project.

"I'm more inclined to make my next record a Christmas album," Shania says.  "I've been dying to do a Christmas album for so long, and I think now is the best time do that."

Fans will have to wait until Christmas 2013 at the earliest for a Shania holiday album.  In the meantime, head over to ShaniainVegas.com for details on tickets and concert dates.
