BREAKING: Wisconsin Assembly Passes Budget Without Debate 55-42

MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - In an unusual move, the Wisconsin Assembly passed the proposed two-year state budget without much of a debate. The abrupt vote was 55-42. Menasha OWI arrest starts and ends with a stop sign

MENASHA, WI (WTAQ) - A Menasha woman is arrested for OWI after a short police chase that started and ended with a stop sign. 

Around 2 a.m. Saturday, Menasha police say the driver failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 7th and Milwaukee Streets. 

Authorities tried to make a traffic stop, but the woman took off in her car. A short police chase ended when she drove into a stop sign at the corner of Konemac and 3rd Street. 

Police say she also tried to run away.

Authorities say it was the woman’s 3rd arrest for OWI, and she had two warrants out for her arrest.
