LAS VEGAS (WTAQ) - The Wisconsin Badgers rallied to erase an 11-point halftime deficit, beating Arkansas 77-70 to take third place in the Las Vegas Invitational Saturday night.
Sam Dekker led the Badgers with 19 points and Ryan Evans added a dozen points to go with 7 rebounds.
A strong Wisconsin defense played a big part in the comeback as the Razorbacks were held to 32 percent shooting in the final 20 minutes.
The Badgers started the second half on a 16-5 run and took the lead for good at 60-58 with a little less than six minutes left.
Wisconsin’s bench outscored the Razorbacks non-starters 32-21.
Arkansas had held a 13-point lead late in the first half. Wisconsin’s record improves to 4-2.
