The British beauty has applied for planning permission for the change to her split-level apartment above St. Pancras station, which she moved into last year (11).
Cole also wants to add a walk-in wardrobe to house her collection of clothes, and has sought approval to move her shower room, after suffering ""constant plumbing problems"" in its current position.
Documents lodged with officials at Camden Council suggest the property's current storage loft is too ""awkward"" for her to access and is deemed a ""poor use of space"".
The papers add, ""The existing gallery mezzanine floor is very small and cannot be used for any particular purpose... The proposed design looks to connect these two spaces through a balcony link via the entrance hallway creating a unique 'Romeo and Juliette' balcony which will add a sense of theatre and eccentricity that embodies Sir Gilbert Scott's (the architect who designed the building) work.
""The new mezzanine will provide a walk-in wardrobe for the newly formed bedroom where the existing mezzanine is, and a new ensuite located above the existing bathroom on the lower level.""
The application will be considered by officials next month (Dec12), according to British newspaper the Daily Telegraph.
