MADISON, WI (WSAU) - The Department of Natural Resources will close wolf hunting in two zones at the end of the day. DNR Lands Division Administrator Kurt Thiede says there’s been a steady harvest in Zone 2, and Zone 4 is only one wolf from the quota. Wolf hunters and trappers can continue to pursue wolves in zones 1, 3, 5 and 6, but Thiede urges you to watch zones 1 and 5 as they may close soon if quotas are reached. The DNR will notify the media if more zones close, and they will also put that information on their web site. We have a link to that for you here: dnr.wi.gov,
