ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation say a worker was injured on the U.S. Highway 41 project in Brown County Friday.
According to a news release, it happened around 9:45 a.m. during paving work near Glory Road in Ashwaubenon.
The worker was transported to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic on U.S. 41 was temporally delayed while the worker was moved from the job site.
Michels Corporation in Brownsville is the primary contractor on this stretch of the Highway 41 Project.
The work is part of the $57 million project to reconstruct the U.S. 41/Main Ave. interchange and expand Highway 41 to six lanes of traffic between Orange Lane and Glory Road.
