MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Madison Police said at least one officer shot and wounded a burglary suspect early Friday morning.

It happened just before 3 a.m., when police were called to the home that was reportedly broken into.

Police officials said there was some type of confrontation, and at least one officer fired shots and hit the suspect.

There was no immediate word on how badly the alleged burglar was injured.
