MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Wisconsin scored the first two goals of the game at the Kohl Center Friday night, but couldn’t hold the lead.

Both teams scored twice in the third period, the Badgers hitting the scoreboard on goals by Jake McCabe and Keegan Meuer. Meuer’s score tied the game with 4:18 left and sent it into overtime.

Just 25 seconds into the extra frame, Colorado College scored to send the crowd home disappointed. The visitors outshot Wisconsin 39-29.

The Badgers came into the game killing the last 8 power plays, but gave up 2 scores on 3 opportunities Friday night.
