MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - In an unusual move, the Wisconsin Assembly passed the proposed two-year state budget without much of a debate. The abrupt vote was 55-42. Hunter Hayes performed with 7th and 8th grade students at Corpus Christi School in Piedmont, CA earlier this week. His appearance happened thanks to the Grammy Foundation's partnership with Safeway in honor of Campbell's Labels for Education Program.
Hunter also talked about his experiences as a recording and touring artist in an effort to teach the students about the role music plays in their lives.
