George Strait has signed on to perform the closing concert for the 2013 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 17. Martina McBride and the Randy Rogers Band  are also on the bill.

The Houston Rodeo has actually added a day to the schedule for this concert, so there won't be any rodeo competition that night.  George first performed at the Rodeo in 1983 as a last-minute replacement for the late Eddie Rabbitt .  He has performed there 20 times since.  

Tickets for George's March 17 show go on sale in January.
