GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The wooden roller coaster that brought new life to Bay Beach Amusement Park is picking up more speed as it marks its second season.  During the first month of operations this season, the Zippin Pippin had over 8,900 more riders than during it's inaugrual month of last year.  Elvis Presley’s so called favorite ride had more than 102,753 riders ending June 17^th.  Last season, the ride was credited for increasing ridership on the rest of the park rides and increasing concession sales.
