The two time defending National Division III hockey champion St. Norbert Green Knights have found a new conference to skate in beginning in 2013.   A news conference Tuesday afternoon will disclose details on St. Norbert joining the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association.  St. Norbert and St. Scholastica of Duluth, Minnesota will both join the MCHA, making it a 10 team league.  Both schools were left in the lurch when the five state schools that helped make up the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association for the past 18 years, withdrew to form their own Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the sport.   St. Norbert considered joining the new WIAC league but instead, opted for the MCHA which includes programs at Lawrence, Marian, Concordia and MSOE in Wisconsin along with Adrian, Finlandia and Northland in Michigan.  The league is entering it's 15th season this year.   While St. Norbert has dominated the NCHA, winning 10 of the last 11 regular season titles and 10 Peters Cup playoff championships in 18 years, the Green Knights have overwhelmed competition from the MCHA over the years, going 55-0-2 all time against the schools.
