GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - The Packers have begun testing out Lambeau Field’s two new scoreboards that now tower of the field. Images and test patterns could be seen Thursday on the new Mitsubishi Diamond Vision high definition video boards. The video panels measure 48 feet high and 108 feet wide. They are part of the expansion project that is adding around 6,700 seats at a cost of $142 million. New rule changes from the NFL this year will allow the game goers to see the instant replays that referees are reviewing when a team challenges a call on the field. The Packers have also purchased an additional eight high definition cameras, and will now have a total of 12 instant replay angles. The scoreboards are expected to be ready for the annual summer shareholders meeting next month. The number of shareholders more than doubled during the recent stock sale than ended in February, and turnout is expected to be the highest ever in franchise history.
