The Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee usually attracts artists from a wide variety of musical genres each year, so that's why Lionel Richie fit right in when he made a surprise appearance on Sunday night, the closing night of the festival. 

Lionel joined his old pal Kenny Rogers onstage for a duet on "Lady," the country star's hit that Richie wrote and produced.  The two recorded the song as a duet for Lionel's current hit album, Tuskegee.   Then, the former Commodores frontman rocked the crowd solo with his smash "All Night Long."

Lionel has a lengthy European tour scheduled for the fall, but he has yet to announce a North American trek.
