Kenny Chesney has extended his record deal with Sony Music Nashville and is getting his own record label imprint, Blue Chair Records, as part of the deal. That means his next album, Welcome to the Fishbowl , will be released on Blue Chair Records and Sony imprint Columbia Nashville on June 19.

"I moved to Nashville to be a songwriter, so to have my own label imprint feels like beyond a dream come true," Kenny says. " Welcome to the Fishbowl is the most honest and authentic album I’ve ever recorded, and I’m thrilled to be able to release it on my own Blue Chair Records."

Kenny has sold more than 30 million albums during the course of his career with the Sony Music Nashville label group.
