The Milwaukee Brewers had a chance to enter the race in the National League Central Division heading to Cincinnati for the weekend, but they're leaving the Great American Ballpark all but out of that race. The Reds completed a three game sweep with a 2-1 victory Sunday, dropping the defending division champs to 44-50 on the season and now a staggering 10 and a half games behind the front running Reds. Aramis Ramirez gave rookie Mike Fiers a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the top of the third but the Reds answered with two in the bottom half of the inning. Wilson Valdez tied the game with an RBI single and after an error, scored on a Brandon Phillips sacrifice fly. Milwaukee out-hit Cincinnati 10-8 but left 11 runners stranded against Johnny Cueto (12-5) and two relievers. Ryan Braun was struck out by Aroldis Champman with Carlos Gomez on second base to end the game. The Brewers head to Philadelphia Monday night as Randy Wolf will open the series against Roy Halladay.
