APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Fire breaks out at a home in Appleton early Thursday.

Fire crews get the call to 807 Weiland Avenue just after 2 a.m.

Authorities say it was a minor attic fire and no one was injured. It did force a family out of their home and it's not clear when they may be able to return.

Officials say an Appleton police officer is the one who first spotted the fire.
