OCONTO FALLS, WI (WTAQ) - Classes are cancelled Wednesday at St. Anthony School in Oconto Falls after a fire breaks out.  Fire crews were called just before 7 p.m. to the school along North Franklin Street that is attached to the St. Anthony Parish.  A man walking by noticed the flames, called 911, and broke in to try and battle the flames with a fire extinguisher.   Oconto Falls Fire Chief Tim Magnin says the fire damage was contain mostly to a hallway and a couple of classrooms.  Crews spent a couple hours battling the fire.  Magnin isn’t saying it’s suspicious at this time, but finds it strange the fire occurred in a building that had been empty for hours.  St. Anthony Parish says it will hold a service for Ash Wednesday.
