The Green Bay Phoenix won a third straight game beating Cleveland State 71-67 on Senior night at the Resch Center Tuesday.  The game was tightly contested throughout with Green Bay coming up with several big plays down the stretch. Kam Cerroni nailed his fifth three point shot of the night to put GB up 2.  Looking to build the lead, reserve Terry Johnson turned the ball over but hustled down the floor to steal the ball and moments later, Johnson delivered a wide open three from the top to give the Phoenix a five point lead with under two minutes to play.  Cerroni finished with a team high 17 points and freshman point guard Kiefer Sykes added 13.  Green Bay finished the home schedule with a 12-2 record at the Resch Center and they still have a shot at hosting a Horizon League tournament first round game next week.  Green Bay (13-14) is 8-8 in conference play and finish the season at Loyola Thursday night and at UIC Saturday.  If they win both and get some help, the Phoenix could finish 6th in the conference and earn a first round game at home.
