17th ranked Wisconsin may have fallen out of the Big Ten regular season title chase after losing a 7th straight game at the Breslin Center in East Lansing to the 8th ranked Michigan State Spartans 69-55. The Badgers had another tough shooting night, hitting only 35 percent from the floor but uncharacteristic mistakes in the first half allowed Michigan State to score 15 fast break points in the first half. The Spartans led by 12 at intermission and WIsconsin was only able to close the gap to as close at 8 in the second half. Dramon Green and Kieth Appling each scored 20 for Michigan State (21-5, 10-3). The Badgers (19-7, 8-5) were led by Ryan Evans with 17 points. Jordan Taylor added 13 for Wisconsin which returns home to face Penn State at the Kohl Center on Sunday.
