APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Appleton are on the search for a suspect following a gas station robbery early Sunday.
Officers were told by a clerk at the Mobil station at 3401 North Richmond Street, on the city's north side, that the robber walked in and demanded money just before 1 a.m.
The clerk believed the robber may have been armed, based on her actions. The suspect then fled toward the north. Police say she took an unknown amount of cash.
The robber is described as a white female, between 5'6" and 5'8", weighing around 170 pounds, with brown hair. She was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and had a tie-dyed bandana over her face.
