Rodgers leads run to victory as Packers beat Cincinnati 27-13

CINCINNATI (WTAQ) - As the Green Bay Packers starters got more playing time, quarterback Aaron Rodgers got more time to run, as he dashed for a pair of touchdowns in their 27-13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals Thursday night.

Rodgers finished the opening half 12 of 22 for 154 yards with one interception. He ran the ball 6 times for 52 yards and those two scores.

The newest Packer and former Bengals running backs Cedric Benson made his debut, carring the ball six times for 38 yards.

The Packers first-team defense was stingy in the first half, holding the Bengals starting offense to a pair of Mike Nugent field goals, and sacking quarterback Andy Dalton twice.

Backup quarterback Graham Harrell played most of the second half, finishing 5 of 12 for 26 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Overall the Packers had 2 turnovers, 4 penalties and towards the end of the game got a 27 yard interception return for a touchdown from linebacker Jamari Lattimore.
