It was the biggest inning of the season for Milwaukee. The Brewers scored eight runs in the fifth, most with two outs, in a 9-5 rout of their division rivals, the Chicago Cubs at Miller Park. Jonathan Lucroy walloped a three run homer and Carlos Gomez followed with a solo shot in the rally. Lucroy would add a second homer as Milwaukee pounded out 14 hits. Norichika Aoki went three for four as Mark Rogers picked up his first major league victory, working five innings, giving up three runs on five hits. The Brewers (55-66) will send Marco Estrada to the mound in game two of the series Tuesday night.
