MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - Back-to-back home runs by John Mayberry Jr. and Erick Kratz powered the Philadelphia Phillies to a 4-3 win over Milwaukee Saturday night.
The loss snapped an eight-game home winning streak for the Brewers.
Philly left hander Cole Hamels struck out 10 batters, allowing 8 hits and 3 runs in seven and two-thirds innings. He walked only one, but gave up a two-run homer to Ryan Braun, his 33rd.
Aramis Ramirez also had a home run.
It was the second straight subpar outing for Mike Fiers, whose record fell to 6-6. Fiers gave up four runs in five innings of work.
