Even though he’s been out on big tours with Taylor Swift , Lady Antebellum and Gavin DeGraw , David Nail doesn’t see shifting to smaller venues in the fall as a letdown.
He finds that headlining shows for smaller, more intimate crowds let him play longer and fit in fan favorites that may typically be overlooked when he's the opening act.
“The great thing about playing your own shows, you can play all the music you want to -- and a lot of the great album cuts get to be heard, which is a lot of times what fans tell me they like the best,” he says.
Since David currently has two albums out, The Sound of a Million Dreams and the acoustic EP 1979 , he should have plenty of material to choose from.
David’s fall tour kicks off September 6 at Toby Keith ’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Cincinnati. You can check out the full list of venues on his website .
