Charli's 12-Hour Breast Cancer Bake Sale
October 19th at the Superbowl in Appleton 5a-5p

Come out and get great treats for a great cause! Charli McKenzie from the Y100 Morning Show will be hosting a 12 hour bake sale with all proceeds going to the Wisconsin Women's Wellness Program. Support the cause and you could win tickets to see Martina McBride, November 29th at the Resch. All the baked goods for the sale are homemade and donated by people just like you!

If you can donate some baked goods for this year's event, please fill out the form below. Baked goods donated should be dropped off at the Midwest Communications Building at 1420 Bellevue St in Green Bay the day before the sale OR dropped off at Superbowl the day of.

  • Pink ribbonIn 2011, an estimated 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer were diagnosed among women, as well as an estimated 57,650 additional cases of in situ breast cancer.
  • Pink ribbonIn 2011, approximately 39,520 women were expected to die from breast cancer. Only lung cancer accounts for more cancer deaths in women.
  • Pink ribbonIn 2011, about 2,140 cases of breast cancer were expected to occur among men, accounting for about 1% of all breast cancers. In addition, approximately 450 men will die from breast cancer.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, all month long we will be listing local events to bring added awareness and support to the importance of education, prevention, detection, treatment and the celebration of survivors.
