This would never happen here, would it?

How would you like to be fined for throwing a football at the next tailgate party?

A San Diego Chargers fan was fined $280 for throwing a football in the stadium’s parking lot while he was tailgating.

He was given the ticket last month before the Chargers-Colts game for $60. However when he went to look up the ticket online it showed he was being charged $280.

The man challenged the ticket and the judge said he would waive the fine if he pleaded guilty to throwing the football. The man did.

The Chargers are one of four teams in the NFL who do not allow fans to throw footballs in the parking lot because it could be dangerous for drivers.. The others are the Tennessee Titans, the Indianapolis Colts and the Seattle Seahawks.
