Yes, your tongue will stick to a frozen pole, but she wanted to try it herself!
A girl in East Kingston, New Hampshire is doing OK after she got her tongue stuck to the flag pole in her front yard.
The 12-year-old was helping her dad in Thursday's snow storm, when she decided to touch the flag pole with her tongue and got stuck there.
She said, "It just kind of popped into my head, 'Hey what would happen if I stuck my tongue to a flag pole?' At the moment, I was like, it will come right off."
But it didn't, and her tongue bled as she tried to pull it off the pole where she was stuck for 15 minutes.
Her parents were able to get her free by using some warm water while waiting for emergency workers to arrive.
She’s expected to be fine but said her lips feel like like they've been stung by a lot of bees, and her mouth’s swelling is expected to last about six weeks.
