He knew he wouldn't be there for his daughter, so he came up with the great idea. The love for his daughter is amazing!
A father in Virginia who has been diagnosed with cancer has promised to write 800 notes for his 14-year-old daughter so she can have one in her lunch every day until she graduates high school.
He started the tradition when she was in kindergarten and wants to continue in case he doesn’t live long enough to see her graduate.
The notes originally contained simple phrases or a heart written on a napkin and grew into words of encouragement or inspirational quotes when his daughter got older.
"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing. —B. Franklin"
"Do or do not. There is no try. —Yoda"
"Dear Emma, Everything in moderation. Except Awesome. You can never have too much Awesome. Love, Dad"
"Dear Emma, Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into your eyes and realize I've already created one. Love, Dad"
