A 7-year-old boy from the Bronx was pulled out of class, handcuffed and questioned for 10 hours by police over a missing $5 bill.
The money had fallen on the ground in front of him and two other boys and it disappeared. Someone accused the 7-year-old, and he was handcuffed and held in a room at the school for four hours.
Cops eventually took him to the station for another six hours of interrogation and verbal abuse.
The kid’s mom hired a lawyer and has filed a $250 million lawsuit against the city and the NYPD.
One of the other boys who were there when the money fell ended up confessing to taking it.
