I went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis this weekend. It was not my first time, I have toured the hospital for 7 years in a row now. Every time I walk through those doors I still get the feeling of HOPE for these children battling cancer. The families never get a bill from St. Jude and the research being done at St. Jude is shared freely with children's hospitals here in Wisconsin and around the world.

As families shared their St. Jude moments with us there were tears. Yet there is this feeling of joy as we heard from young people that had been patients at St. Jude and are now healthy and continuing their education in hope of someday working at St. Jude to continue the dream that Danny Thomas had over 50 years ago, that no child should die in the dawn of life.
