Gary Allan posted a video to let fans know that his minor vocal cord surgery went well and that he was on the mend.

He held up cards for the video, due to having to rest his vocal cords after surgery, but had this to say on the cards.

“Hey guys. Thanks for all of your support.”
“Surgery went well…”
“I just can’t talk for a little while.”
“But I wanted to say thanks to you all and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.”
“See you back on the road in February.”
