Country music star Garth Brooks announced on Thursday morning he will hold a concert in December to raise money for victims affected by the May flood.
The concert will be held Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. at Bridgestone Arena. Tickets will be $25 plus handling. One-hundred percent of the $25 ticket will go to those in need. The money raised will go toward The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee in support of flood victims.
Promoters released details Wednesday on when and where the public can buy tickets to see Garth Brooks' flood relief concert in Nashville.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. with an eight-ticket limit. Fans can either go online, call or go to a Ticketmaster outlet.
TICKET PRICES: PAY THE FOLLOWING AND PAY NO MORE
1. Ticketmaster.com and 1-800-745-3000 or TM Express 1-866-448-7849: $25 + $2.50 user fee + $5 service charge = $32.50.
2. All Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky Ticketmaster Outlets: $25 + $2.50 user fee + $5.00 service charge = $32.50 cash only
3. Bridgestone Arena Box Office: $25 + $2.50 user fee = $27.50 cash only.
Ticket sales at The Bridgestone Arena Box Office and all Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky Ticketmaster outlets only:
Random numbered wristbands will be given out at the outlets and the Bridgestone Arena Box Office beginning 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, through Friday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. or while supplies last. The wristband does not guarantee a ticket, ONLY a place in line. The wristband will be placed on your left wrist, and wristband holders must return to the same location they received their wristband by or before 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. If wristband holders show up after 8:45 a.m., then they must go to the late line. Everybody with a wristband has a chance to be first in line if they arrive by or before 8:45 a.m. Those fans without wristbands will be allowed to line up behind wristband holders on a first come, first served basis.
People must be at least 12 years old and able to be in line unaccompanied. There is an eight-ticket limit. Only cash will be accepted at the Bridgestone Arena and all outlets.
