On Saturday we took a trip to Point Beach St. Forest in Two Rivers. It has been a long time since I have visited my old stompin' grounds of TR. I remembered what a nice little town it is. Some things are new, some ar the same as 30+ years ago (like Dicks Wonder Bar) We got some subs and had a picnic in the park then hit the beach. It was a hot and humid day even in TR so there were a lot of people trying to cool down. Swam all afternoon then had a great pizza at Port Sandy Bay. Brought back some old memories for us some new ones for the kids. Sometimes the simple stuff is the most fun. Glad we took time to do it!
