The sad life of Mindy McCready has ended.  She committed suicide, yesterday.

McCready's family found her dead on her porch, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

McCready shot the family dog before killing herself.

Her fiance’ David Wilson's death on January 13 was initially reported as a suicide, but police later said the case was suspicious and the investigation remains open.

McCready denied any involvement in his death.

McCready's career hit its peak in 1996 with her debut single 'Ten Thousand Angels' and the subsequent hit 'Guys Do It All the Time,' which climbed to number one on the country music charts.

Earlier this month, McCready was ordered to complete up to 21 days of outpatient treatment and undergo drugs and alchohol tests

She spent just two days in a treatment facility before she was allowed to go home earlier this month.

A source says, “She was released because they thought she was mentally stable enough, and she was tested for drugs and alcohol and everything came up fine.”

Her two children, a 6-year-old and 10 month-old boys, remain in foster

care- where they have been since she was sent to rehab.
