ABC is developing a TV series based on the book, and internet blog "Awkward Family Photos".
The blog features funny, embarrassing and awkward family portraits that have been submitted by readers.
No detais on how the concept will translate to TV.
CBS has converted the Twitter feed "$#*! My Dad Says" into a TV show this fall, and also last week made a development deal for another Twitter feed, "Shh ... Don't Tell Steve."
