~~ Brooks & Dunn will let their fans decide which one of six past hits the duo will perform on the 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which are scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 18, live on CBS from the MGM Grand.
This is Brooks & Dunn’s final ACM Awards performance, with the duo launching its farewell tour this summer.
The first phase of voting, which narrows the song list to three, started yesterday at www.cbs.com/brooksdunn. Fans can choose from: “My Maria”; “Brand New Man”; “Red Dirt Road”; “Neon Moon”; “You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone”; and “Boot Scootin' Boogie.”
The second phase of voting begins April 14 and will continue to run until Brooks & Dunn’s performance on the show.
