~~ Blake Shelton caught a 40-pound paddlefish-- which is the new lake record for Hudson Lake in northeastern Oklahoma.

Shelton was born and bred in Ada and now lives in Tishomingo. He was fishing Monday below Hudson Lake with members of his band and his girlfriend, Miranda Lambert. Everyone caught at least one fish, and all of the spoonbills were released.
